Lead Product Design
Goals
This project focused on the refresh of an out-dated financial advisor dashboard.
The whole thing, right here
This is the updated Advisor Dashboard in all its long-scrolling glory. Continue below to see some comparisons between old and new Dashboard Elements.

Old Vs. New
Here are some comparisons between old parts of the experience and new refreshed versions which are much more connection and relationship focused.
01
Relationships
This is one of the first things an advisor would see upon entry into their dashboard. I helped organize the data better, improve UI clarity and added in personal information about the client. Special shout out to the inclusion of our AI generated client podcasts which tell us about our clients’ portfolio performance and holdings news.

02
Curated Content
Old curated content had no connection to clients and their holdings. Now the advisor can see

03
Shareable Content
The old system had no ability to share content between advisor and client. A modern advisory experience leverages the power of Almighty Content to build strong advisor client bonds. If you know your advisor is thinking of you, you can trust they are managing your wealth well.

Outcomes
This quick turnaround refresh of our Advisor Dashboard was pivotal in pushing our internal product into new arenas of relationship building, share-ability, and key insights.
Very quick turn around
This project was a couple of days in total between getting the requirements and completion

Too bad, Work faster
Not much to do but just work harder and faster. Good thing I know what I’m doing (most of the time.)
Pioneering designs
There was no precedent to the kinds of relationship metrics and shareability aspects
Solved Via
Pick some brains
I needed to think quick and plumb the rich design depths of our product team for ideas and solutions.
Is this vaporware
You never know if your cutting-edge designs will see the light of day or simply remain on the Figma shelf.

Trust the process
Design and actual implementation are two very different processes. Design and actual implementation are two very different processes. A wise designer understands that even if a design doesn't get fully developed, it still serves as valuable information for future work.

Goals
This project focused on the refresh of an out-dated financial advisor dashboard product. We wanted to bring in more client-centered, relationship driven actions and metrics. Being a financial advisor in the twenty first century means being a relationship manager first and a wealth manager second.
